While the rest of the family eagerly awaits the arrival of Chanukah, David would rather be Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer in the upcoming school play. Mitzvah Mouse intervenes and takes David and Rachel back in time to meet Judah Maccabee (Don Diamont), whereupon the kids join the Maccabee army to make sure that the flame of Judaism will always burn bright.
