In Vaeira, Moses approaches Pharaoh under Gods command to demonstrate Gods seriousness about letting the Hebrew people go. When Pharaoh is not easily swayed, Moses calls on God to bring about the plagues in an effort to convince him, but God hardens Pharaohs heart each time. This portion includes the first seven plagues(blood, frogs, lice, swarms of flies, cattle disease, boils and hail), and the description of each is near the images portraying it; the name of the plague is also bolded to add texture to the piece and make it easier to find. Moses is clad in the red and black of the Levite cloth and a tallit which he admittedly has not yet been commanded to wear! A great Seder gift for your hostess.
